Maintenant je suis consultant indépendant. J'interviens dans les domaines des analyses sociales et institutionnelles. Je suis prêt à travailler pour des ONG qui souhaitent bénéficier de mes compétences en analyses sociales et institutionnelles pour le développement."

"The Joint Oxfam Advocacy Programme began work in August 1997 and draws on support, financially or otherwise, of eight Oxfam Group (OG) members that are funding interventions in Mozambique (Oxfam America, Belgium, Canada, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Community Aid Abroad, Intermon and NOVIB). The ongoing non-funding support of the Oxfam International Advocacy Office in Washington (OI) also deserves special note. The Advocacy Programme has two overarching goals:
1. To support the effective participation of Mozambican associations and institutions in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and practices that impact upon injustices that cause poverty, and;
2. To contribute to the OG´s capacity to act responsibly and effectively during advocacy initiatives."
Ms. Wanzala is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Bielefeld's Sociology of Development Research Center. Previously, she was a Political Science Lecturer at the University of Namibia. Her Ph.D. research is on "embeddedness of female economy in urban Namibia." She uses the concept of female economy for the gender specific embeddedness of economy, stressing the complementarity between women's work and their life worlds. Her analysis underlines diverse and divergent gender norms that structure women's economic activities, spaces and networks, as well as development practice in urban Namibia. She highlights the interfaces between women traders and development agents and discusses how this interaction is embedded in different social and cultural milieux.
