The South African Coastal Information Centre (SACIC) is an initiative by the Department of Environment Affairs and Tourism (DEAT), to raise awareness, increase appreciation, and to contribute to the management of the South African coast, in accordance with the White Paper for Sustainable Coastal Development in South Africa.
